The University of Alabama football team's annual Fan Day is set for Sunday, August 8th.

The future of Alabama football became a little more diverse Friday afternoon.

The Alabama Sports Writers Association 2010 preseason football poll will be released at 5 p.m. Sun., Aug. 1, and at least one local team is on it. The poll will post to The Star-News Web site promptly at 5 p.m.
