EUREKA -- The Sequoia Humane Society is hosting its annual fundraisers, Woofstock 2010 and the 15th annual Mutt Strut, on Sunday at Halvorsen Park, at the foot of L Street on Humboldt Bay.

n Free Hearing and Vision Screenings: at the Richie McFarland Children's Center, 11 Sandy Point Road, Stratham, from 9 a.m. to noon on Friday, Aug. 6. Hearing screenings for children ages 3 to 5 will be provided by the Pediatric Rehabilitation Department of Exeter Hospital and vision screenings will be provided by the Lion's Club for children ages 6 months to 5 years.
